Error in My Visa Application and Requirement for Health Evaluation
Hi there! I’m in the process of applying for a Visitor Visa (subclass 600) under the business stream, as I will be taking my OSCE exam in Australia.
While filling out my visa application, I mistakenly answered “Yes” to the question regarding whether I planned to study in Australia. As a result, I was required to undergo a health test. Interestingly, my friend, who answered “No” to the same question, was not asked to complete this requirement.
I am currently revising my application because my answer should have been “No” to that particular question. Initially, we had intended to conduct our review back in our home country to save on costs. Now I’m feeling quite anxious about this mix-up. I only realized my error after speaking with my friend, who successfully submitted her application (I know, I should have consulted her earlier, but I genuinely thought everything was fine).
My main concerns are: Will I still need to undertake the health test despite correcting my application? Is updating my response acceptable? And how can I confirm that the Australian Government has acknowledged these changes to my application? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
