Thanks Ashwani for your thoughtful comment — it really gets to the heart of why we’ve been considering launching Zoom webinars in the first place.

Many people from lower-income backgrounds face real barriers when trying to migrate to Australia for work, especially due to upfront costs like skills assessments, English tests, medicals, visa application fees, and sometimes relocation expenses.

These can easily add up to thousands of dollars — which can be overwhelming, especially if you’re already financially stretched.

That’s exactly why a webinar might be valuable. It would give us a chance to walk people through:

    1. What realistic options exist if you have limited funds.

    2. How employer sponsorship works, and how to find jobs where the company covers visa costs.

    3. What scams to avoid — many people in vulnerable situations are targeted by dishonest agents.

    4. Tips for building a competitive profile from overseas with minimal cost (like free English practice tools, low-cost resume strategies, and using LinkedIn to attract employers).

Honest truth? Migrating without any funds is very difficult, but it’s not impossible, especially if you’re skilled and willing to be persistent. But people deserve clear guidance, and that’s what we hope to offer.

Thanks again for the comment, it strengthens the case for offering a regular live Q&A. I’ll keep everyone posted if we move forward with it.

    Regards
