Any suggestions or feedback?
We don’t expect our website to be perfect from day one and as we head towards two weeks since going live we hope to get some feedback.. good or bad 🙂
Any suggestions will be taken on board for consideration to help make Oz Visa Forum an even more helpful and user friendly community

Mark I love it. It’s actually one of the best resources I’ve ever seen on the Australian migration subject in all my years of wanting to migrate.
I’d say though, is there a “DM” feature, which I could direct message you, or someone specifically? If there is one, then I’m just a bonehead who can’t find the feature, but I think it would be a good addition.

Thank you for the kind comments mate and yes. We have a DM feature though I might need to update this to a button if it’s not clear. 🙂
Clicking on a users profile you will be sent to their profile page with a follow button, next to this are three dots. Clicking the three dots beings up a new member option including a option to send a message.
You can also use the my messages menu option. From this page you can view you received and sent messages. You can also send new messages from this page using the @ username option.
Final comments on the DM option. I have had a lot of new members DM me with questions about moving to Australia.
I generally refer them back to the forums so everyone can benefit from our interactions. It would be a very quiet place if we only communicated via DM 🙂
With that said, I want our site to evolve into a LinkedIn for migrants where users build personal connections and help each other personally. The DMs are a perfect place for that. 🙂
