  Hi, I am Patrick from Cape Town, South Africa, i am semi skilled boilermaker,Metal Fabricator, shipbuilder and boat builder(Aluminium and steel vessels 10+ years experience ), i am 49 years old and as fit as a fiddle, I would like to work(sponsorship job) and maybe relocate to Australia, does my age count, any help and info would be appreciated, thanks

  There is no age limit on the 482 Visa class, so your current age is fine. What I would say is, if you are looking to acquire Australian Permanent residency in the future, your age may add an unwelcome level of complexity. I am happy to answer any questions you have.
