Thank you for sharing your background, Marius. Australia offers several visa options for skilled professionals like you, particularly in the healthcare sector, where registered nurses are in high demand. Here’s a high level overview of the process:

    1. Skills Assessment: You must undergo a skills assessment through the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC). Learn more here https://www.anmac.org.au/.

    2. English Proficiency: You need to meet English language requirements through a test such as IELTS or OET.

    3. Visa Options:

Subclass 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage Visa): Requires employer sponsorship. See https://482jobs.com for job listings

Subclass 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme): For permanent residency, also employer-sponsored.

Subclass 189/190 (Skilled Visas): Points-tested and do not require sponsorship but may require state/territory nomination.

Would you like help identifying specific visa options or employers offering sponsorship?

Please let me know if you’d like me to expand on any if these points🙂

    All the best
