Certified with C2 Electrical License (EPRA)

    Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experienced in solar PV systems, industrial control panels, fire alarms, and substation operations

Also hold a valid driver’s license since 2015

I’m currently looking for job opportunities in Australia with 482 visa sponsorship, especially in roles such as:

    Industrial Electrician

    Substation Technician

    Renewable Energy Projects

    General Electrical Work

If anyone knows a company currently offering sponsorships or recruiting internationally, I’d truly appreciate your guidance or referrals. I’m ready to take English tests like IELTS if needed and willing to relocate immediately.

    Thank you in advance!

Hi Edwin, welcome to Oz Visa Forum. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your background – you’ve got excellent experience, especially in substation operations and renewable energy!

Your occupation falls under ANZSCO 341111 – Electrician (General), which is on the MLTSSL (Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List).

This means you’re eligible for a range of skilled visas including:

    1. Subclass 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage) – Australia Visa sponsorship required from an approved employer. Your experience in industrial and solar projects makes you well-suited for:

    • Industrial Electrician roles
    • Substation Technician
    • Renewable Energy and Solar PV Projects

    2. Subclass 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme) – a pathway to permanent residency after working in Australia.

    3. Subclass 189 or 190 – points-tested skilled migration. You’ll need a positive skills assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) and meet minimum points (usually 65+).

    4. Subclass 491 or 494 – regional skilled visa options with employer or state sponsorship.

Your C2 Electrical License, diploma, and international work experience should support a strong TRA assessment.
