Hi Zaka, welcome and thanks for your post! 🙂

As an Electrical Technician, your occupation may align with ANZSCO 342313, which is currently on the Regional Occupation List (ROL).

This means you may be eligible for certain skilled visas, including:

    • Subclass 482 – Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (with regional employer sponsorship)
    • Subclass 494 – Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa
    • Subclass 191 – Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional), after holding a 494 visa for 3 years

To pursue visa sponsorship, here’s how you can get started:

    1. Search for jobs that offer sponsorship – Try these job boards:

https://482jobs.com (our own site – all jobs listed here offer visa sponsorship)

    https://seek.com.au

    https://indeed.com.au

For seek and indeed and terms such as “sponsorship” to your search criteria to filter your job results.

    2. Format your resume for the Australian market – Check out our guide here:

    https://482jobs.com/australia-resume-tips-craft-winning-resume/

    3. Upload your resume to https://482jobs.com/candidates/submit-resume/ so Australian employers and recruiters can find you directly.

    4. Consider skills assessment – Most skilled visas will require a positive skills assessment. For Electrical Technicians, this is usually conducted by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA): https://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/

I hope this gives you a clear path forward. Feel free to post any other questions or if you need help with anything else!

    Regards

Hi Zaka. I’d like to help but we only provide advice through our forums. We don’t have the capacity to provide 1:1 support for free.

I’d suggest reaching out to a registered migration agent who can provide you tailored assistance if you are looking for this level of support.

You can make a booking with a MARA registered agent via the page here: https://482jobs.com/product/migration-agent-assessment-service/

Otherwise if you have any clarification questions I will try and help where I can.

    Cheers
