Posted by Saroj on January 24, 2025 at 5:32 pmHi,
I have been working from overseas for Australian client on HVAC Design field since last 8 years. I have obtained positive skill assessment for both work and qualification. Now I am seeking jobs in Australia in HVAC Design field with sponsorship anyone who can help or suggest me.

Welcome Saroj. Thank you for your question.
Cam you confirm which occupation your skills were assessed against as this will help me identify potential visa paths for you.
Is it an engineering related role?

Mark

That’s great. Thanks Saroj
As a Mechanical Engineer, your occupation is on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), so you qualify for various visa pathways, including employer-sponsored visas and independent skilled visas. If you’re specifically looking for sponsorship, here are some steps to consider:
1. Search for Employer Sponsorship Opportunities: Use platforms like ours at https://482jobs.com to find employers actively sponsoring skilled workers under the Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) visa. Our website focuses on connecting skilled professionals with Australian employers seeking sponsorship. Job searches via seek.com.au or indeed.com.au are also recommended although more that many of these roles may not come with Sponsorship.
2. Professional Networking: Build your profile on LinkedIn and job portals such as Seek and Indeed. Highlight your eligibility for employer-sponsored visas like the 482, 186, and 494, which are attractive to employers.
3. State and Territory Nomination: For the subclass 491 and 190 visas, investigate state and territory nomination programs. They prioritize occupations on the MLTSSL and may open doors to regional opportunities.
In addition to employer-sponsored visas, you qualify for independent visas such as the subclass 189 (Skilled Independent) and subclass 190 (Skilled Nominated). These do not require sponsorship. Have you considered these pathways?
All the best
Mark

Hi Mark,
Would you please let me know how many employer had sponsored from 482.com website for overseas Mechanical or HVAC Engineer?
Thanks,
Saroj

Hello Saroj, it is difficult to say.
Our website at 482jobs.com is a job aggregation service. If the job advert says it is offering visa sponsorship and includes an email, then the application and resume the applicant uploads are forwarded to the email we found on the original job advert.
Similarly, if the job advert does not include an email address, clicking the link simply takes the user to the destination website where our editorial team found the original job ad offering visa sponsorship.
The primary purpose of 482jobs is to save people time finding jobs offering visa sponsorship.I hope that makes sense. We do have employers advertising directly with us from time to time, though the vast majority of jobs we share are those advertised elsewhere that our team have found and added to the 482jobs.com database.
I hope that makes sense
Cheers
Mark

Hello Saroj, this link is for all the engineering roles currently listed on our website.
https://482jobs.com/job-category/engineering/
There does not appear to be any HVAC related roles currently though I do recommend you register a free account so you can set up a job alert – this way our platform will send you an email as soon as a matching job is added.

Thanks Mark,

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your response. Yeah I have considered other pathways such as 189, 190, 491. But it seems like ta points for 189 won’t be sufficient due to age constraint, marital status the points are just coming down. Hoping for regional but if you could recommend me some employer who could sponsor me for the job of Mechanical Engineer in HVAC Field from overseas it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Saroj

Hi Saroj, I recommend registering a free account on our website at 482jobs so we can email you when appropriate jobs are listed. Perhaps register two alerts. One for mechanical engineer and a seperate on for HVAC.
With regards to employers, I’d take a look at https://seek.com.au. Seek is the main job board here in Australia.
Although many of the jobs on this website are not sponsored (unlike 482jobs) it might be helpful in understanding who the main companies and recruiters are recruiting on your space.
All the best
Mark
