Hello Prasenjit and welcome to our forum 🙂

In Australia, eligibility for skilled migration visas is determined by the occupation’s presence on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and its corresponding ANZSCO code. Here’s an assessment of some of the possible roles which might align with the experience you’ve mentioned:

    Retail Banking:

Business Development Manager: This role aligns with the ANZSCO code 225212. It is listed on the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), making it eligible for certain skilled visas.

Relationship Manager: This title is broad and may correspond to various ANZSCO codes, depending on the specific industry and responsibilities. Further clarification of duties would be necessary to determine its eligibility.

Branch Manager: Corresponds to ANZSCO code 149914, titled “Financial Institution Branch Manager.” This occupation is on the STSOL, qualifying it for specific skilled visas.

Corporate Sales Manager: This role aligns with ANZSCO code 131112, “Sales and Marketing Manager,” which is on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), making it eligible for a broader range of skilled visas.

    Telecommunications:

Account Manager: This role may correspond to ANZSCO code 225211, “ICT Account Manager,” which is on the STSOL, making it eligible for certain skilled visas.

Enterprise Sales Manager: This title could align with ANZSCO code 131112, “Sales and Marketing Manager,” on the MLTSSL, qualifying it for a wider range of skilled visas.

Channel Sales Manager: Similar to the above, this role may also correspond to ANZSCO code 131112.

Business Growth Strategist: This specific title isn’t directly listed in ANZSCO. Depending on the responsibilities, it might align with roles such as “Management Consultant” (ANZSCO 224711), which is on the MLTSSL.

It’s important to note that visa eligibility depends not only on the occupation’s presence on the SOL but also on other factors such as qualifications, experience, and your English language proficiency.

Have you had any thoughts on the visa approach you’d prefer to take at this stage?

    All the best

    No worries Prasenjit

What occupation would you be using as a basis for your search.

I recommend registering a free account on our job boards at https://482jobs.com so we can email you if appropriate sponsored roles are added.

https://seek.com.au is the main job site in Australia and can serve as a useful resources to identify the companies recruiting for people with your skillset. Be mindful however that 95%+ of the jobs on seek are not offering Visa sponsorship though you might still find the insights helpful.

    Regards

    Mark
