Hello Oluwagbemiga and welcome to our community. If you are looking at Australia Visa sponsorship, there are some strong options available.

The main sponsored visa is the Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482). To be eligible, you need:

    1. An occupation that is on one of Australia’s skilled occupation lists (MLTSSL = Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List, STSOL = Short-term Skilled Occupation List, or ROL = Regional Occupation List).

    2. An employer willing to sponsor you.

For healthcare, many roles are in demand across Australia. Registered Nurses (ANZSCO 2544xx) and other allied health professionals are on the MLTSSL, meaning long-term visa pathways are possible.

For agriculture and livestock, roles such as Mixed Crop and Livestock Farmers (ANZSCO 1214xx) and Agricultural Technicians (ANZSCO 3111xx) often appear under the ROL or through regional DAMA agreements (Designated Area Migration Agreements). These DAMAs are special programs that allow employers in certain regions to sponsor workers in occupations not normally available on the main lists.

To find jobs offering Australia Visa sponsorship:

Start with https://482jobs.com – every listing here is verified to offer visa sponsorship. For your areas:

    • Healthcare jobs: https://482jobs.com/job-category/healthcare-medical/

    • Farming, Animals & Conservation jobs: https://482jobs.com/job-category/farming-animals-conservation/

You can also check Seek (https://seek.com.au) and Indeed (https://indeed.com.au), but most roles there do not offer sponsorship, so use search terms like “visa sponsorship” or “482 visa.”

    I also recommend:

    Preparing an Australia-style CV: https://482jobs.com/australia-resume-tips-craft-winning-resume/

Uploading your resume to our job board so Australian employers can find you directly: https://482jobs.com/candidates/submit-resume/

If you let me know your exact healthcare or agriculture occupation, I can confirm whether it is on the MLTSSL, STSOL, ROL, or under a DAMA. That will make the visa pathway clearer.

I hope this points you in the right direction.

Feel free to provide more detail about your occupation experience if you’d like to explore your visa options a little deeper.

    All the best

Hi Oluwagbemiga, sponsored jobs are very much like normal jobs in the sense you need to.

    • Find a job advertised that you want to apply for (on 482jobs.com, seek, indeed, linkedin etc).
    • Apply for the job by submitting your application and resume
    • Be shortlisted for an interview
    • Be offered the job

At this stage, as the employer is open to offering visa sponsorship, they will typically commence the process and guide you on what you need to do next. This typically involves.

    • The employer applies to the government to become a sponsor (if not already approved) and then lodges a nomination for your specific job.
    • You collect things like your passport, skills assessments (if needed), English test results, health insurance, and police checks.
    • Once the employer’s nomination is approved or lodged, you submit your visa application online with all required documents.
    • You complete medical exams and police checks as requested by the Department of Home Affairs.
    • The government processes both the nomination and your visa application. You might be asked for more information.
    • If approved, you get your visa and can live and work in Australia.

I hope this helps clarify the process but in short, the key part is to get that job offer.

    All the best
