sponsorship visa – experts in digital inclusion ?
Posted by Nidhal on March 13, 2025 at 4:31 amWhat are the procedures and requirements for obtaining a sponsorship visa for consultants and experts in digital inclusion, as well as senior managers in marketing?
Specifically, I would like to understand the key eligibility criteria, the role of the sponsoring company, and the typical processing time for such visas.

Hi Nidhal and welcome to our community.
For consultants and experts in digital inclusion, as well as senior managers in marketing, the most relevant employer-sponsored visa options in Australia include the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482) and the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa (subclass 186).
1. Eligibility Criteria
- The occupation must be listed on the relevant skilled occupation list:
- Marketing Managers (ANZSCO 131112) are on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), making them eligible for both the TSS 482 and ENS 186 visas.
- Consultants in Digital Inclusion do not have a specific ANZSCO code, so they would need to fit into a broader occupation such as ICT Business Analyst (ANZSCO 261111) or Management Consultant (ANZSCO 224711), both of which are on the MLTSSL.
- Applicants must have relevant qualifications and work experience (typically a bachelor’s degree and at least 2–5 years of relevant experience).
- English language proficiency is required (e.g., IELTS 5.0 for TSS 482, IELTS 6.0 for ENS 186).
- The sponsoring employer must be an approved business sponsor and provide evidence that they cannot fill the role with an Australian worker.
2. Role of the Sponsoring Company
- The employer must nominate the applicant for a specific occupation.
- They must meet labour market testing (LMT) requirements, unless exemptions apply.
- They must commit to paying the market salary rate and comply with sponsorship obligations.
3. Visa Processing Times
- TSS 482 Visa: Typically 4–8 weeks after submission, depending on occupation and application quality.
- ENS 186 Visa: Can take 6–12 months as it involves employer nomination and a direct pathway to permanent residency.
For job opportunities with sponsorship, check https://482jobs.com, as all listings there are confirmed to offer visa sponsorship.
Feel free to let me know if you need more details!
Regards
Mark
