• TRA‑Assessed Cabinetmaker Seeking 482 Sponsorship – Ready for DAMA Regions

Posted by Seyed EhsanMember - Located in Iran on August 7, 2025 at 4:43 pm

My name is Seyed Ehsan Rafiei Tabatabaei, a TRA‑assessed Cabinetmaker (ANZSCO 394111) with over 10 years of professional experience in cabinetry fabrication, CNC nesting, and on‑site installations. I hold a Certificate III in Cabinetmaking issued by VETASSESS Australia, and I am actively seeking employer sponsorship (TSS 482 visa), especially in DAMA‑designated regions such as Adelaide (SA), Darwin / Northern Territory, and Goldfields (WA).

I have delivered 200+ custom kitchens and cabinetry projects with ±0.5 mm tolerance and zero rework. I am proficient in laminate and veneer finishes, hardware installation (Blum soft-close), and familiar with WHS standards. I also own professional tools, hold a manual driver’s license (transferrable to Australian license), and ready to obtain a White Card and forklift certification upon relocation.

Please find my resume and cover letter attached. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in connecting with employers who are open to DAMA or TSS 482 sponsorship. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a reputable workshop and begin my journey in Australia.

    Warm regards,
    Seyed Ehsan Rafiei Tabatabaei

    Now onto your post:

You’ve done a great job outlining your skills and readiness for relocation. With your occupation (and the fact that you have already had your skills assessed), you’re in a strong position.

Cabinetmaker is on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), which supports multiple skilled visa pathways, including the Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482), Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186), and points-based visas like the subclass 189, 190, and 491.

It is also eligible under many regional DAMA agreements.

To connect with Australian employers who offer visa sponsorship, start with:

    Also try:

On Seek and Indeed, be sure to search with keywords like “482 visa” or “visa sponsorship” to filter the right roles, as most listings there are not pre-screened for sponsorship.

We’d also recommend upload your resume here to boost your visibility with Australian employers: https://482jobs.com/candidates/submit-resume/

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out with more questions any time. Best of luck on your journey to Australia!

    Regards

    Mark
