Hi Hakan, welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing a bit about your background. You’ve mentioned real estate, bus driving, and wheat farming – that’s quite a range of skills and experience. 🙂
To help point you towards the most suitable Australia Visa sponsorship options, can I ask which of these roles you have the most years of experience in? The Australian migration system is very occupation-based, so your strongest skill area will determine whether your role appears on the skilled occupation lists and what visa pathways might be open to you.
In the meantime, a great place to start is our job board: https://482jobs.com – every job listed here has already been verified as offering Australia Visa sponsorship. For example:
Farming, Animals & Conservation jobs: https://482jobs.com/job-category/farming-animals-conservation/
Trades & Services jobs: https://482jobs.com/job-category/trades-services/
Hospitality & Tourism jobs (sometimes linked to bus driving roles): https://482jobs.com/job-category/hospitality-tourism/
You can also check Seek (https://seek.com.au) and Indeed (https://indeed.com.au). Just remember that unlike 482jobs.com, most jobs there do not include visa sponsorship, so it’s best to filter searches with terms like “visa sponsorship” or “482 visa.”
Once you let us know which area you’re strongest in, we can check if it’s on the Skilled Occupation Lists (MLTSSL, STSOL, or ROL) and guide you towards the right pathway.
Looking forward to hearing more about your main experience so we can help you take the next step.
Regards
Mark

Thanks for clarifying, Hakan. Real estate is definitely a respected profession, but you’re right that it can be harder to find Australia Visa sponsorship in this field. Many Australian real estate companies prefer to hire local agents because they rely heavily on knowledge of the area, established client networks, and Australian property licensing requirements.
That said, there are still options. The ANZSCO code for Real Estate Agent is 612114, and it currently sits on the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).
This means the main pathway is through the Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482), but usually only if you already have strong sales experience and a company is willing to sponsor you.
Some Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs) also include real estate-related roles, so if you’re open to living in a regional part of Australia, that could create more opportunities.
Another important step is licensing. To work as a real estate agent in Australia, you need to hold a state or territory licence.
For Western Australia, the requirements are set out here: https://www.consumerprotection.wa.gov.au/real-estate-licensing-and-registration
Having the right qualifications and licence (or being able to quickly obtain them) will make you far more attractive to Australian employers.
You might also consider related roles where visa sponsorship is more common, such as property management, office administration within real estate, or even sales and marketing roles that are broader than just real estate. These could be stepping stones into the industry once you are in Australia.
I’d recommend researching the WA licensing requirements and checking whether your qualifications and experience can be recognised. From there, we can explore whether a 482 visa, or possibly a regional pathway, could be realistic for you.
Hope this gives you a clearer picture, and I’d be glad to help you map out the next steps if you’d like.
All the best
Mark
