Hi, I want to work in Australia. I’m french, and 55 years old. We live with my indonesian wife and 2 kids in Bali currently. I was working as HRIS analyst for a french retail company on line at the end. Could you tell me if it is possible to work in Australia ? Thanks. Best regards

1. 261112 – Systems Analyst
This code suits people who focus more on the technical and IT side of HRIS systems – like evaluating, configuring or maintaining the software.
2. 223111 – Human Resource Adviser
This is possibly a better fit if your work leaned more towards HR functions, using HRIS for tasks like workforce planning, reporting or HR operations.
Both of these roles are currently on Australia’s skilled occupation lists – meaning they’re eligible for employer-sponsored visas like the Temporary Skills Shortage visa (subclass 482), which can lead to permanent residency pathways later on.
As you’re 55, age could be a factor for permanent visa options – but subclass 482 has no age limit, and there are concessions for permanent visas under some regional programs (called DAMAs).
