Website homepage when logged in.
Hi folks. I’ve made a small change to the forum homepage you will see when logged in.
Our traditional website home page at ozvisaforum.com acts as more of an introduction to Oz Visa forum.
This might be fine as a brand new visitor but once you are a registered member of our community, the info may be less relevant.
With this in mind, I’ve made a small change today so the forum homepage defaults to your user dashboard when you are signed in.
This will make it a lot more relevant to you and is hopefully more useful than the current state intro to our forums.
It also means clicking the Kangaroo/logo will return you to your dashboard at any time.
We hope you find this an improvement though please feel free to share any feedback below of you have any.
I’m also keen to understand what other widgets or information you’d find useful in your dashboards given you might be seeing more of it after we’ve made this change 🙂

It’s a good idea and makes a lot of sense.From memory we were redirected to the dashboard after logging in anyway though having the user Dashboard as our homepage when logged in is a big improvement. 👍🏻🤓
The main ‘homepage’ probably serves more value as a sales pitch for new members (and less useful once you have registered).

Thanks mate and you are correct about the initial redirection. The intent is to make the dashboard page a little more accessible as clicking on our website logo now takes you to this location when you are logged in. The benefit of a personal ‘homepage’ is it’s customised for the user so hopefully it should be much more helpful then our generic website homepage when logged in. 👍🏻
