Hi Gangadhar, thanks for sharing your background. Your qualifications and experience as a Welder are highly relevant for skilled migration and employer sponsorship in Australia.

This occupation is currently listed on the Regional Occupation List (ROL), which supports employer-sponsored visas such as:

    1. Subclass 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage visa), a short-term work visa for up to 4 years

    2. Subclass 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional visa), a regional pathway that can lead to permanent residency

    3. Subclass 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme visa), direct entry stream is possible if you’re nominated by an eligible employer and meet criteria, including skills assessment and English

Given your PTE Academic scores (overall 50), you meet the minimum English requirement for Subclass 482.

However, for Subclass 186 or 494, a higher English level may be required, typically a score equivalent to IELTS 6 in each band (PTE 50 in each component).
