We’re Thinking About Hosting Free Webinars – What Do You Think?
Hi everyone,
I’m exploring the idea of running free webinars here at Oz Visa Forum — and we’d love to get your thoughts.
These sessions would be hosted by us using a platform such as zoom and feature special guests such as registered Australian migration agents, or other industry experts who’ll share insights on key migration topics and stick around to answer your questions live.
Each webinar would run for around 30 minutes, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session. We’d also follow up with any follow up questions in the forums.
We’re really keen to make these sessions as helpful and relevant as possible — so before we go too far, we want to ask:
- Would you be interested in attending?
- What topics would you love to see covered?
Whether it’s skilled migration, visa options, common application pitfalls, or life in Australia, we’re all ears.

Hi Mark. I would love to attend the meeting. My concern is about if I get a PR and comes over there, what are the situations that I should face . Secondly regarding my Finance background, would there be a nomination in the near future. I hope we can discuss many other relevant topics in the webinar if you are planning for such an activity.

Topics on how to get a Visa sponsored job, I think 482jobs is great but the issue for many of us it that we are not doctor’s, nurse’s, or tradies. Like myself, I’m an IT Helpdesk Technician and right now every door is just getting slammed in my face which happens the moment a company or recruitment agency realises I don’t have work rights and will need visa sponsorship.

For what it’s worth, there are roles in technology but in the helpdesk space it will be more difficult due to be remote nature of the support (many companies outsource their helpdesk environments overseas). Prior to any webinar I’d be happy to explore your options more broadly with you if you’d like to start a new post and we can work through your options in more detail. Thank you, that would be very much intresting. I have been applying for 482 visa sponsorship jobs for the the last 3 years and to avail I have not reciecived 1 single reply or interview from these forum since I join. It will be much helpful for us to know , how and what can be done in order to be reconize and land a visa sponsor work in Australia.
