Where to start as a new member

Hey everybody, and thanks for joining us. There is much to take when you first join in as you get to know your way around our website.

All our forums can be viewed by Clicking the icon with four squares or by Clicking here.

We have designed the structure around a number of key phases of the Australian Migration Journey.

• Thinking about it: For those who are at the very early stages of their migration journey – they don’t really know where to start, what visa options exist and what the process is to apply for a visa in the first place.
• Doing it: These forums are for those actively migrating. You have done your research, you know what visa you are likely to use, and you are actively applying.
• Made the move: These forums are for those who have recently made the move to Australia. If you need help applying for Medicare, an Australian driving license or anything else Australia-related – This is a good place to start.
• The Watering Hole: A great place for more relaxed discussions, including a forum where you can introduce yourself to our community – We’ll also have a place to discuss and share the latest Australian Migration news.
• Site Stuff: Finally, our site stuff forums are about… well, site stuff! A space for updates, support, and ideas. Here, you can stay informed with announcements, ask questions about how to use the functionality and forums we make available or share suggestions to help improve our community forums.

That’s about it for now. Get settled, and in the coming days, I’ll share a little more about some of the other features of our website, such as member connections, messaging, posting gifs and more!
