March 13, 2025 at 9:14 pm in reply to: Farm /agricultural job in Australia,

    Hi again Azubuike

For farm and agricultural jobs in Australia, you have a few options:

    1. Visa-Sponsored Farm Jobs: Many agricultural employers offer sponsorship under the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (subclass 482 ) or the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) if they cannot find local workers. You can check for sponsored job listings at https://482jobs.com, where all jobs listed confirm visa sponsorship.

    2. Seasonal & Short-Term Farm Work: If you’re open to temporary work, you might consider the Seasonal Worker Programme or the Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) if you’re eligible.

    3. DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement): Some regional areas offer a special agreement that allows employers to sponsor workers in agricultural roles with relaxed criteria.

    4. General Job Search: For more job opportunities, you can check https://seek.com.au and https://indeed.com.au.

Since you also have business and managerial qualifications, you may want to explore administrative or agribusiness roles in farm operations, logistics, or management.

If you’re looking for opportunities beyond agriculture, I’d suggest uploading your CV to https://482jobs.com/candidates/submit-resume/, where recruiters actively search for candidates.

Let me know if you need help choosing the right visa pathway!

March 13, 2025 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Australia Visa Sponsorship – Swimming Coach Opportunities

Hello Nima and welcome to our community

There are opportunities for swimming coaches to find employer-sponsored jobs in Australia. The ANZSCO code for Swimming Coaches and Instructors is 452315, which falls under the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (subclass 482) if an employer is willing to sponsor.

However, this occupation is not on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), meaning permanent residency pathways may be limited unless through a DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement).

    Steps to Find Sponsorship:

    1. Check Sponsored Job Listings – You can find visa-sponsored swimming coach jobs on 482jobs.com, which lists only verified sponsorship positions.
    2. Apply Through General Job Portals – Websites like Seek and Indeed may have sponsorship jobs available.
    3. Contact Swim Schools Directly – Many swim schools across Australia, especially in regional areas, are open to sponsoring experienced coaches.
    4. Get Qualifications Recognised – If you have overseas coaching qualifications, ensure they meet Australian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association (ASCTA) requirements: https://ascta.com.

If you have further questions or need additional assistance, please let me know!

March 13, 2025 at 3:06 pm in reply to: CoE Obtained, but PTE Score has Expired

Hi Prajit, welcome to the Oz Visa Forum Community! 👋🏼🙃

Your Pearson Test of English (PTE) score must be valid at the time of your student visa (subclass 500) application.

Since it expired on March 1, 2025, you cannot use it for your visa lodgment.

Here’s what I recommend you should do:

    1. Wait until you get your new PTE score – Since you are taking the test on March 16, it’s best to wait until you receive your results before applying for your visa.
    2. Ensure your new score meets the English requirements – The Department of Home Affairs requires a minimum score, depending on your course type. You can check the latest requirements here: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au
    3. Lodge your visa application only once you have a valid PTE score – You cannot update your application later with a new PTE result if your previous one has already expired at the time of submission.

It’s great that you already have your CoE (Confirmation of Enrollment for the benefit of any other members reading), so as soon as you get your new PTE score, you can proceed with the visa lodgment.

I hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

    All the best

March 13, 2025 at 11:11 am in reply to: sponsorship visa – experts in digital inclusion ?

Hi Nidhal and welcome to our community.

For consultants and experts in digital inclusion, as well as senior managers in marketing, the most relevant employer-sponsored visa options in Australia include the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482) and the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa (subclass 186).

    1. Eligibility Criteria

    • The occupation must be listed on the relevant skilled occupation list:
      • Marketing Managers (ANZSCO 131112) are on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), making them eligible for both the TSS 482 and ENS 186 visas.
      • Consultants in Digital Inclusion do not have a specific ANZSCO code, so they would need to fit into a broader occupation such as ICT Business Analyst (ANZSCO 261111) or Management Consultant (ANZSCO 224711), both of which are on the MLTSSL.
    • Applicants must have relevant qualifications and work experience (typically a bachelor’s degree and at least 2–5 years of relevant experience).
    • English language proficiency is required (e.g., IELTS 5.0 for TSS 482, IELTS 6.0 for ENS 186).
    • The sponsoring employer must be an approved business sponsor and provide evidence that they cannot fill the role with an Australian worker.

    2. Role of the Sponsoring Company

    • The employer must nominate the applicant for a specific occupation.
    • They must meet labour market testing (LMT) requirements, unless exemptions apply.
    • They must commit to paying the market salary rate and comply with sponsorship obligations.

    3. Visa Processing Times

    • TSS 482 Visa: Typically 4–8 weeks after submission, depending on occupation and application quality.
    • ENS 186 Visa: Can take 6–12 months as it involves employer nomination and a direct pathway to permanent residency.

For job opportunities with sponsorship, check https://482jobs.com, as all listings there are confirmed to offer visa sponsorship.

Feel free to let me know if you need more details!

March 13, 2025 at 11:06 am in reply to: Looking for bricklayer opportuntiies in Australia

    Hi Sheu,

There are good opportunities for bricklayers in Australia, and visa sponsorship is possible.

Bricklayer (ANZSCO 331111) is on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), meaning you have multiple visa pathways with and without employer sponsorship.

    Visa Options with Employer Sponsorship

    1. 482 Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa – Requires an employer to sponsor you. This is a temporary visa but can lead to permanent residency.
    2. 186 Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa – A permanent visa if an employer is willing to nominate you.
    3. 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (SESR) Visa – Requires employer sponsorship but allows you to live and work in regional Australia with a pathway to permanent residency.

    Visa Options Without Employer Sponsorship

    1. 189 Skilled Independent Visa – A points-tested permanent visa. Since bricklaying is on the MLTSSL, you can apply independently if you score enough points.
    2. 190 Skilled Nominated Visa – A permanent visa that requires state or territory nomination. Different states have different requirements, but bricklaying is often in demand.
    3. 491 Skilled Work Regional Visa – A five-year visa requiring nomination from a regional area. It provides a pathway to permanent residency (191 visa).

    How to Apply

If you go for a skilled visa (189, 190, or 491), you need:

    • A skills assessment through Trades Recognition Australia (TRA)
    • An Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect
    • To meet the points requirement (age, experience, English ability, etc.)

    Finding Sponsored Jobs

To increase your chances of sponsorship, apply on these sites:

    1. https://482jobs.com – Every job here offers visa sponsorship.
    2. https://seek.com.au
    3. https://indeed.com.au

    Boost Your Chances

I hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you need more details.

March 13, 2025 at 10:59 am in reply to: Sponsor visa jobs

    Hi Macauley,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to our community! 😊

The 482 Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa requires sponsorship by an Australian employer for an occupation listed on the skilled occupation lists.

    • Dog breeding is not recognised as a skilled occupation under Australia’s skilled migration program, so unfortunately, this would not qualify for a 482 visa.
    • Marketing Admin is quite broad. However, if your role aligns with occupations like Marketing Specialist (ANZSCO 225113), which is on the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), you could be eligible for a 482 visa if an employer is willing to sponsor you.

Could you provide more details about your marketing experience?

What tasks do you perform, and do you have any qualifications in this field?

March 12, 2025 at 8:52 pm in reply to: Looking to understand Australia Visa Opportunities?

Hi Azubuike and welcome to Oz Visa Forum.

Based on your experience, here are some Australian visa pathways you might consider:

    Potential Visa Pathways:

    1. Skilled Migration (Points-Tested Visas)

Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189): This visa allows skilled workers to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia. Eligibility depends on your occupation being on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190): This is a state-nominated permanent visa. Your occupation must be on the MLTSSL or the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), depending on the state’s requirements.

    Relevant Occupations:

Agricultural Consultant (ANZSCO 234111): Advises on farming practices to improve efficiency and sustainability. This occupation is on the MLTSSL. A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher is typically required, along with at least one year of post-qualification experience. VETASSESS – Agricultural Consultant

Office Manager (ANZSCO 512111): Manages office administrative functions. This occupation is on the STSOL. An AQF Diploma or higher in a relevant field is usually required. VETASSESS – Office Manager

    2. Employer-Sponsored Visas

Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (Subclass 482): Requires employer sponsorship. Your occupation must be on the MLTSSL or STSOL.

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa (Subclass 186): A permanent visa requiring employer nomination. Your occupation must be on the MLTSSL.

    Job Search Resources:

482jobs.com: Our platform lists jobs offering visa sponsorship. https://482jobs.com

Seek: A popular Australian job site. https://seek.com.au

Indeed: Another major job search platform. https://indeed.com.au

    3. Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA)

Certain regions have agreements to sponsor skilled workers in occupations not on the general skilled lists. Agricultural roles may be available under DAMA.

    Next Steps:

Identify Suitable Occupation: Determine which ANZSCO code best matches your experience.

Skills Assessment: Obtain a skills assessment from the relevant authority. For example, VETASSESS assesses Agricultural Consultants and Office Managers.

Job Search: Explore job opportunities on the platforms mentioned above. Uploading your resume to 482jobs.com can increase visibility to potential employers.

Consult a Migration Agent: Consider seeking advice from a registered migration agent to navigate the visa process effectively. We can refer you to an agent of required.

I hope this information helps you explore your opportunities in Australia. If you have further questions, feel free to ask.

    Regards,

    Hi Syawaluddin,

Welcome to the community! 😊 Given your background, your best pathway to working in Australia will depend on whether your occupation aligns with the skilled migration lists.

Unfortunately, “General Administrator” is not typically listed on the skilled occupation lists for independent visas like the Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189) or the Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190). However, you can explore employer-sponsored visa options such as the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (subclass 482) if you secure a job offer from an Australian employer willing to sponsor you.

Steps to Find a Job with Sponsorship:

    1. Search for Sponsored Jobs: Start by applying for jobs on sites that list visa-sponsored positions:

    2. Optimise Your Resume and LinkedIn Profile: Australian employers prefer a specific resume format. I recommend checking this guide: Australia Resume Tips: Craft a Winning Resume in Australia. Also, improving your LinkedIn presence can help recruiters find you: 15 Expert Tips to Get Noticed by Australian Recruiters on LinkedIn.

    3. Consider Alternative Pathways: Since administrative roles are not always on the skilled occupation lists, you might want to look at sectors where your experience could be transferable, such as project coordination, contracts administration, or procurement roles within Oil and Gas companies in Australia.

    4. Upload Your Resume for Employers: Many Australian recruiters actively search for candidates on 482 Jobs – Submit Your Resume. This increases your chances of getting noticed.

Since you mentioned you are willing to provide your own visa, you could also explore short-term work opportunities under a Work and Holiday Visa (subclass 462) or a Student Visa (subclass 500) if you are open to upskilling while working part-time.

I hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you need further guidance.

    Best of luck!
    Regards,
    Mark
