Hello Eron and welcome to our community.
I wish I could just magic up a job for you however there are a few steps we might need to take first 🙂
To begin. What type of hospitality jobs are you referring to. The hospitality industry is quite broad and includes many positions (chef, restaurant manager, wait staff, barista etc)
All the best

Merci beaucoup d’avance.

Welcome to our community Franklin. What type of sponsored job would you be looking for (what is your occupation)? 🤔
-
Hi again Dorcas. 🙂
Ok, great. Now let’s break this down:
So we’ve identified your ANZSCO code correctly, and your occupation (Metal Fitter and Machinist NEC, 323299) is on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).
This opens up several visa pathways,
1. Employer-Sponsored Visas:
Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (Subclass 482): Allows you to work in Australia for an approved employer for up to two years. Requires employer sponsorship, relevant skills and qualifications, and meeting English language proficiency standards.
Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494): Enables you to work in regional Australia. Requires a regional employer sponsor, at least three years of relevant work experience, a positive skills assessment, and meeting English language requirements.
2. State or Territory Nominated Visas:
Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190): A permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory. Requires a state or territory nomination, submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI), a positive skills assessment, and meeting English language proficiency standards.
Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491): Allows you to live and work in regional Australia for up to five years, with a pathway to permanent residency. Requires nomination by a state or territory government or sponsorship by an eligible family member residing in regional Australia, submission of an EOI, a positive skills assessment, and meeting English language proficiency standards.
General Process Overview:
1. Skills Assessment: Obtain a positive skills assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), confirming your skills and qualifications meet Australian standards.
2. English Language Proficiency: Demonstrate your English language ability through tests like IELTS or equivalent, meeting the required scores for your chosen visa subclass. See guide on IELTS here.
3. Expression of Interest (EOI): Submit an EOI through the Department of Home Affairs’ SkillSelect system, detailing your qualifications, experience, and visa preferences.Top Tips for submitting an EOI
4. State/Territory Nomination or Employer Sponsorship: Depending on the visa pathway, secure a nomination from a state or territory government or an offer of employment from an Australian employer.
5. Visa Application: Upon receiving an invitation to apply, submit your visa application with all necessary documentation, including health and character assessments.
I realise that is a lot of information but I hope this helps break down the process.
Have a read of the other resources k shared and let me know if you have any questions.

On the marketing side, have you secured any work under your WHV arrangement.
Also, what kind of marketing do you have experience in? Trade shows, magazines, social media marketing etc?
All the best

Hello Eron and thank you for confirming.
The best opportunity you might have is as a restaurant or cafe manager as this is available on the SHort term occupation lists.
You would need to demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in this role.
The expectations of the job from an australian migration perspective are defined here and include.
- planning menus in consultation with Chefs
- planning and organising special functions
- arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
Is this experience that you have? If so- I can expand on the visa options.

My question is if this description is aligned with the type of work you are doing currently.

Hello, it is (our small team manually find and verifies every role we add on 482 jobs, so there is a cost to providing that service for our members) – I hope you found the rest of my lengthy reply useful anyway 😶
If you would prefer to search non-paid platforms then I would recommend
https://seek.com.au (Australia’s main job board) or
Note, however, that these websites advertise a lot of jobs that are not sponsored, so a little further work will be required on your side if you would prefer to use the free job sites. 😊

There does not appear to be any HVAC related roles currently though I do recommend you register a free account so you can set up a job alert – this way our platform will send you an email as soon as a matching job is added. 😊

AdministratorJanuary 28, 2025 at 1:55 pm in reply to: Mechanical Engineer with 8 year experienceHello Saroj, it is difficult to say.
Our website at 482jobs.com is a job aggregation service. If the job advert says it is offering visa sponsorship and includes an email, then the application and resume the applicant uploads are forwarded to the email we found on the original job advert.
Similarly, if the job advert does not include an email address, clicking the link simply takes the user to the destination website where our editorial team found the original job ad offering visa sponsorship.
The primary purpose of 482jobs is to save people time finding jobs offering visa sponsorship.I hope that makes sense. We do have employers advertising directly with us from time to time, though the vast majority of jobs we share are those advertised elsewhere that our team have found and added to the 482jobs.com database.
I hope that makes sense 😊
Cheers
Mark
