Thanks Mark this is so helpful. Looking at the link you sent the commissioned fire officer I guess would be what my husband does now. Is that job on the list for UK citizens?

My job is basically an investigator in CID and what comes with that so investigating crimes, interviews suspects etc etc but I specialise in the gathering of digital evidence so seizing and download of phones, CCTV, downloading routers, that kind of thing. But I am a civilian don’t a police officer.
