According to higher education analyst Zac Ashkanasy, the mandatory on-campus attendance for international students creates a rather peculiar classroom dynamic. You might find a sea of international faces while local Australian students enjoy the freedom to study from home, or perhaps from a beach towel on a sunny Aussie shore. Ashkanasy notes that universities must learn to balance these requirements, ensuring that domestic students are motivated to step foot on campus.
